Cyclist Killed in Oliver

7/5/2012

Reports are coming in that a Penticton cyclist has been killed as a result of collision with a vehicle.

Around 4pm yesterday the 27 year old man was thrown over a Chevy Impala driven by a 37 year old Oliver resident on Tucelnuit Drive.

Emergency services attended to the cyclist but he was declared deceased at the scene.

A traffic re-constructionist has been enlisted to assist with the investigation and police do not believe alcohol to be a factor in the accident.
