Flu Medicine Recalled

Penticton Walmart recalled a lot of medicine that may not work properly

1/25/2013

A children's flu medicine is being recalled after it was discovered the product may not reduce fevers at all.

Infants' Little Remedies for Fevers was being sold at the Penticton Walmart and at various Shoppers Drug Marts and other retail stores. However, one of its lots is being pulled from the shelves due to the medication containing less acetaminophen than what the bottles indicate.

As a result, the product may not reduce fevers, relieve aches and pains due to colds and flu, or provide relief for headaches or teething pain.

The Penticton Walmart has confirmed that it has pulled the recalled lot from the shelves.
