Mon. Mar.15th - Ides Of March

...Sorry, it has been awhile. Very busy recently with the Winter Games on, time off, and work, work, work! (just excuses, I know).
Anyway, let's look back at the weekend it was:
- Friday, I was at the 2nd of our Patio Parties at the Barking Parrott. Thanks to everyone who braved the rain, and stood outside with the ducks and enjoyed a delicious burger! Hey, at least it was rain...and not snow, and it was still mild too. Remember, every Friday from 5:30 to 7 you can pop by the Parrott for the BBQ, and help support our Have A Heart Radiothon.
- Saturday, the Penticton Vees dropped an overtime decision to Westside, and the Warriors evened their 2nd round series at 2-2. Game Five is tonight at the South Okanagan Events Centre, with the puck drop at 7:05. Catch all the action on AM 800 with Ryan Pinder. Pre-game show is at 6:40. As a matter of fact, there will be a game 6 coming up tomorrow in Westside, and the start times are the same as this evening. Good luck to the Vees!
- Yesterday, was one of those lazy days at home, and a ton of hockey on the tube too!
Now a look ahead to this week:
- Gail Riddall has released her 2nd CD, and will have a pair of 'release concerts' coming up this weekend at the Cannery Stage. All week, I will have CD's to give away, as well as tickets for the concert too.
- The Penticton Speaker Series continues with "Astronaut Without Borders" this Thursday, March 18th. I will have tickets to give away for that too on the Breakfast Club.
- Finally, we look ahead to Wednesday where you had better be wearing the green for St. Patrick's Day! Joanne and I will have some fun with that...hope you do too!
...Talk to you tomorrow morning at 6 for the Breakfast Club!
