Valley First Kick Starts "Feed The Valley"

Valley First has launched a new long term initiative to help Penticton families put food on their tables.

Assistant VP for Marketing, Angela Brown says the credit union is teaming up with the Penticton Salvation Army to  "Feed the Valley", to aid the shift in food bank users.

Brown says there is a large number of working poor families using the food bank.
She says you can donate money, bring food donations directly to branches, or purchase a special tote bag and fill that with items.
