...A busy week next week on the Breakfast Club...details in a moment. First though, I would like to blog about how you can help the victims of the devastating and tragic earthquake in Haiti. This Monday, January 18th is "National Help Haiti Day" with our Astral Media Radio stations throughout the country. To help support the Red Cross, you will be able to call a special phone line on Monday to make a donation. Your donation will be instantly doubled by the government of Canada. That number is 1-800-869-5158. It will be open for your calls this Monday. I hope you can find the time to make that call. Joanne and I will have more on Monday as well.

...Also on Monday...it's a big concert announcement for the South Okanagan Events Centre. Listen at 7:10 for that announcement, and then beat the box office all week long with a pair of tickets. I will give away some in the morning, and Jeremy will do likewise in his afternoon show. Also next week, you could win a General Mills "Go For the Gold" prize package which includes delicious cereal and 2 Winter Games t-shirts. Joanne and I will play the Honey Nut Cheerios Ice Hockey Shoot Out game which is in stores now. Family Literacy Day is next weekend, and the co-ordinator locally is Naomi Ludington. She will be my guest at 8:15 to talk about what's happening in the South Okanagan.
