South Okanagan Children's Charity

The South Okanagan Children's Charity (SOCC) was started by our radio stations in 1975 and has helped children with health issues and projects in our our communities for many years now.  It has evolved over the years, forming both the Sunshine Fund and the Miracle Fund under the SOCC Society. 

The Sunshine Fund helps families needing assistance with medical expenses for their children.  Applicants remain anonymous and requests are assessed to qualify for assistance.

The Miracle Fund raises money for community projects in the South Okanagan that benefit children and teens. Projects that the Miracle Fund has raised fund s for are children's playgrounds, a youth sport court and fetal heart monitors for the Penticton Regional Hospital.
