SOWINS Celebrating Women on Saturday

It's a celebration of South Okanagan Women, with a fifties themed twist.

Donna Henningson with the South Okanagan Women in Need Society says they will look back at women have accomplished as from six decades ago up until now.

Henningson says the organization aims to empower women.  Proceeds from the gala go towards the transition house and counslling programs.

Tickets for Saturday's event at the Lakeside can be purchased at Wings Thrift Store.
