Highway 97 Road Closures Set to Begin March 18th

Highway 97 road closures will become a reality sometime next week.

Jacqui Lloyd of Arthon Construction says rock scaling is targeted to start next week and carry on for at least a month, that will mean road closures of 20 minutes then traffic will be cleared. 

This process to happen throughout the day beginning as early as March 18th.

The exact scheduled hasn't been determined yet.

Meantime, final meshing on the south end of the site in between Summerland and Peachland will be underway.
